Cedar Mar Yacht Club, founded in 1966, is an informal boating club quartered on Barnegat Bay. Our clubhouse is wherever we gather for our events; on the water, along its shore, local venues, or at a club member’s home.

Our objectives are to promote seamanship, navigation and social activities for the membership. We offer a variety of boating and social events throughout the year. Our membership includes families, couples, as well as singles, with a wide range of ages represented.

Members’ boats come in all shapes and sizes, both power and sail, and are mostly centered on Barnegat Bay. Cedar Mar Yacht Club opens up many fun and educational opportunities for members both on and off the water. Some of the events you can look forward to are raft-ups, picnics, winter social, educational seminar, dinghy poker run, cruising trips, end of season dinner/dance and a holiday brunch. Recent cruises have been to Long Island Sound, Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard and south to Atlantic City, Cape May and the Chesapeake Bay. Every few years a winter charter is scheduled to a warm destination, such as, the British Virgin Islands.

As a prospective member there is no charge the first year. Once joining as an active member, each adult member will pay a reasonable annual dues.
